The Bencao app is a comprehensive tool tailored for Chinese Medicine herbalists, featuring detailed information on commonly used herbs and classic formulas. The layout is thoughtfully designed to cater to clinicians' needs.

Ben Cao (pronounced Ben Tsao) is a valuable resource for practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at all levels. For TCM doctors and physicians, Bencao offers efficient access to specific symptoms or syndromes, aiding in modifications and recalling obscure functions or indications. TCM students, on the other hand, benefit from Bencao's systematic approach and concise information which aids in memorization, replacing cumbersome reference books with easily accessible data.

Key features include:

<li>Hundreds of commonly used herbs and formulas organized by Pinyin (Chinese pronunciation) with tone marks, pharmaceutical, or English names.</li>
<li>Fully linkable interface allowing users to navigate seamlessly between herbs, formulas, symptoms, syndromes, etc.</li>
<li>Links from symptoms and syndromes to indicated herbs and formulas for easy treatment based on Differential Diagnosis (DD).</li>
